Travelling to Madrid
By plane
If you will travel by plane, it is easiest to fly to Madrid directly. Madrid has one airport, “Aeropuerto Adolfo Suarez Madrid- Barajas”, connected to Madrid city centre by public transport. Buses and Metro can be found in https://www.emtmadrid.es/Aeropuerto, or https://www.gomadrid.com/transport/airport_options.html to the center.By train
Madrid is served by various train stations: Estación de Atocha; Chamartín; Estación de Aluche; Estación de Cercanías de Sol; Estación de Príncipe Pío.Train timetables can be found on https://www.thetrainline.com/es/horarios-trenes.
Estacion de Atocha is the main one located 4 km from the city centre SOL, but very well connected by metro.
