How to join EANA

To receive EANA-related news via e-mail, or to be able to register for an EANA conference, you need to create a new EANA-ID:

Your EANA-ID will remain valid for future EANA conferences. Your EANA-ID is independent of your e-mail address, which you can update at any time in your EANA profile.

Please note that without becoming a full EANA member (see below), you will only receive e-mails directly related to EANA (mostly information on our annual EANA conference) and you will have only a restricted access to the EANA internal page. To be able to receive regular updates from EANA about current Astrobiology initiatives, please consider becoming a full member of EANA.

How to become a full EANA member

Individuals wishing to become members of the Association must send an email to the Treasurer (Frédéric Foucher, frederic.foucher@cnrs.fr) including a short CV (e.g. field of expertise, current position and affiliation) and one or two sentences describing their interest in and involvement with astrobiology. If necessary, the application may be reviewed by two additional members of the Board before a decision is made. Once approved, the applicant will be asked to pay the annual membership fee (25 €). Membership will become official only after the fee has been received.

Annual EANA membership fee

The annual EANA membership fee of 25.00 € can be paid by bank transfer. Please log in to the internal page for more details. Specifically, please always indicate your name and the year for which you want to pay the membership fee(s).

Some colleagues missed the opportunity last year(s) to pay their EANA membership fee. However, you can still pay for the last years retrospectively, which is highly appreciated by EANA.

The annual fee is not very high and helps us to organize the yearly EANA conference and to support students and young scientists to attend the conference.

If it is very difficult for you to make a bank transfer you can still pay in cash during the EANA conference, however, this is not the preferred way of payment.
